June 12

Assalamu'aleykum wbt. Peace to everybody~!

It's been a while... I know! It has been exactly a month since my last article.. HEHE. Well I was actually taking my own sweet time for another 2 weeks++ after we came back from our Umrah end of last month :) So how's everyone? I miss you guys!! Hopefully things are going well with your life right now. Stop worrying too much and please be happy as always, ok? *Wink* Me?? Alhamdulillah, never feel better than this! ;))

Well I guess most of you probably think that I'm going to write about my recent pilgrimage, right? Honestly I'm really excited to blog about it but unfortunately not for this entry. But In Shaa Allah that'll be very soon, I promise! Will keep you guys updated so worry not! Anyway, I've quite a number of big events happening this June (even for the first 2 weeks!) and feel like sharing ALL of them here... hehehe.

JUNE 12 - My wedding anniversary. Our SOLEMNIZATION (the Muslims called it "Nikah") was held during this date and it was after Isha'. Alhamdulillah for this year is the 4th year of us living together as hubby and wifey.. tehee! Such wonderful years for the two of us. I've actually planned (a crazy one!) for our anniversary this year but unfortunately since the past 2 years, we never had a chance to celebrate our anniversary together (gosh, blame it to my hubby's company!!). Hmm I'd seriously think his company has this kind of conspiracy. They're just being jealous and it was so obvious that they purposely booked his flight ticket (for the recent trip) just a day before our anniversary! So what do you say about this? Hence, looks like I was indirectly 'forced' to postpone my so-called plan to next year huh... what the @%#$?!? MuaHAHAHAHAhahaha..... huuuuuuu *!psycho and heartbroken!* T_T

Whatever it is, I feel really blessed and grateful for Allah SWT has chosen him as my other half. And I said this truly right from the heart. Anyway, here are just some of the pictures taken on JUNE 13, 2009 (during the reception on my family side @ the Grand BlueWave Hotel, Shah Alam) just a day after our solemnization. Well we had 3 ceremonies altogether; the solemnization, reception on my family side (a fusion English wedding concept) and reception on my hubby's side (a traditional Malay wedding concept). My apology for not uploading my pictures in full as I was still not wearing hijab at that time.. huhhu. ENJOY VIEWING!! Ma'assalamah.

Roses & Chocolates

It's a lovely rainy day. And in a lovely mood too. That also means it's the right time for another post! Well I received a surprise gifts delivery this morning. A bouquet of fresh roses and a box of Ferrero Rocher from my dear sisters and lil brother. Though it's already April 24th (and there are 24 roses as well.. hehe!), but still, it's not too late for a lil birthday surprise, aite? Hehehe... Thank God that I'm totally blessed with wonderful siblings and a beautiful life :)

Receiving roses & chocolates from a guy might be a BLAH to most women nowadays but it's never a "NO" if you received it from your loved ones. To be honest, this awesome combo has never failed to make my day :D

Who else in this world would care about you more than your spouse and family?

Anyway, making other people HAPPY is indeed essential in Islam in order to gain Allah's love. And it seems that important people in my life are always trying their best to keep me happy. May Allah protect and shower them with His infinite blessings! LOVE.

Dare to be Forever?

Assalamu'alaikum dearest. Hello March :)

FINALLY. I've missed blogging for almost 2 weeks! Well there are too many things to catch up lately plus I just knew that's going to happen when my Mr. is in Malaysia.. hehe. We have so many agendas (especially for the first few weeks) that I have to stop thinking about my blog for a while or else I'll hear him saying this: "BLOG AND I'LL BLOCK". Hence, no blogging. No blogwalking. So annoying! HUHUHU. Felt like my brain was about to explode with all the ideas and things that I would actually really want to do! Anyway, thanks a lot for visiting The Expatriate's Wife and looks like I've new friends here. AWESOME :D

Aite, just would like to share on my new stuff at the time being. It's the new iPhone5. Actually there's nothing cool about it since smartphones are common nowadays (fine, I'm the one who is a bit outdated here... hahah). Well honestly MY MR. AND I AREN'T BIG FANS OF GADGETS. That's the fact! Seriously. We'd need gadgets but fortunately we're not addicted to them. We just do not want to become their 'slaves'.. that's all. Our previous phones were just the Nokia XpressMusic, which we bought somewhere in 2008 and coincidentally not long after that smartphones were slowly becoming famous (if I'm not mistaken). So that's the reason why we didn't use smartphones earlier... heee. We've been very loyal to our XpressMusic for almost 5 years until mine started acting 'strange' recently. I guess it's about time to change for the new one.. huhu. Anyway, life must go on.....

Welcoming the new iPhone5 couple (2013 - ???)

Why we chose iPhone? There's no specific reason for that except we're quite familiar to Apple products. That's just it!! *Wink* Hmm I believe most of us used to remember lots of phone numbers during our childhood (before the cellphone era). Look what they've done...!

The Cinderella's cart

I'm actually very much in love with this Cinderella's cart (my big sis got it during her friend's wedding). It's so adorable and creative! Well when we were little, we sisters used to have lots of Walt Disney's fairy tale animated movies in our videotapes collection. Yup, there were no DVDs, etc at that time! And among my favorites is of course the glamour fairy tale princess, Cinderella. I can even remember most of the dialogues as well as the songs! *Gosh, can't believe that I'm singing them now!!! AHAHHAH*

Anyway, I've tried to search for it in YouTube and managed to find a video comprises all the best scenes and songs from the movie. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post it here. *I wonder...* However, I managed to find the movie trailer. Hope it might 'help' to reminisce the sweet memories for some of you. How I miss my childhood! BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI-BOO ;)

It's Jumuah

Assalamu'alaikum and good day!

Another beautiful day for us. Thank You, Allah it's Friday! :)
Well it's always nice to be able to spend more time at home. Since I am now helping my dad with his business, therefore, my time is more flexible than before. It's awesome because I get to spend more time with my family nowadays (especially my dear hubby when he's back in town). However, I will not just sit and simply do nothing? Hence, my activity for today is to do the HOUSEKEEPING!!!
